Chris Nixon-Kleweno, PT

Chris Nixon-Kleweno brings 26 years of experience to Spine Team. He graduated from  WSU with a BS in Physical Education and then went on to the University of Puget Sound and received a second BS degree in Physical Therapy.

His 26 years as a physical therapist has given Chris the opportunity to treat a wide variety of clients ranging from elite windsurfers on Maui to work related injuries here in Spokane.  He has advanced training in a variety of treatment approaches including with the North American Institute of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, Strain Counterstrain, and muscle energy.

Chris is also a Certified Ergonomic Specialist. He has provided job site assessments and taught repetitive stress injury management classes for local industries. Chris places high priority on communication with the patient with an emphasis on educating on the cause and effect nature of the healing process.

Chris is happily married and the father of six children. He loves outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing, and watching soccer games in the rain.
